annona senegalensis
fruits
Family : Annonaceae

Description : Annona senegalensis is a shrub generally 2-3 m high with a diameter of 30 cm. The solid,
edible fleshy fruit resembles that of its close relative, the cultivated custard apple. It measures about 3×6
cm.

Fruits : Its fruits, which are in strong demand, are yellow berries containing an orange flesh featuring
numerous grains.

Uses : The sugary flesh exhaling a pineapple aroma is highly appreciated.

Germination : It is highly random even after dipping, boiling or acid treatment. Scarification seems the best
solution. Growth is slow.
