Description : It is a palmae that can reach a height of 30 m and a diameter of 40 cm. Its fruits are
drupes. The drupes are yellow-orange and blackish at the base and clustered in bunches that are crowned
with prickle.

Uses: The pulp of the fruit provides palm oil while the kernel furnishes palm kernel oil. The plant is used
for ornamental purposes.

Germination : The grains germinate easily.
