Description
: It is a tree that was introduced long ago. It was brought from India or Madagascar and is
currently wide spread in tropical Africa. It reaches heights of about fifteen meters. Its fruits are pods
containing a red-brown pulp coating several grains.

Uses : Maceration of the fruits in water, make a refreshing sour drink after addition of sugar or sugar.

Germination : Rapid and abundant. Growth is however slow.
